Abstract
Tuberculous osteomyelitis of the zygomatic bone is rare Mukhopadhya did not find single case of facial bone in his series of 941 cases of skeletal tuberculosis.

Tuli and Sinha in a similar series of 1,074 cases reported only five cases. Most of them are secondary infection; The primary foci are lung, kidney, pelves etc. In this patient a any evidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in chest radiography was not recognized and same results were obtained from the other areas known as the frequent primary sites. Strauss recorded a few cases in which no active focus was found and these were designated as cases of "primary skull tuberculosis".

Here we report a case of primary tuberculous osteomyelitis of zygomatic bone in a female patient. We confirmed the diagnosis of primary tuberculous osteomylitis of the zygomatic bone from the results through lesional biopsy at operation field and histopathologic examination
